Network Support
Preventative Maintenance
Regular preventative maintenance is a critical component to supporting your computer network. Problems can often be identified before they occur and remedial actions taken prior to them becoming a crisis.
Without regular maintenance, issues such as an underperforming servers, slow PC’s, intermittent backup issues, undetected viruses and security holes, all contribute to lessening the efficiency, reliability and ultimately the profitability of your business on a day-to-day basis.
With contracted preventative support, our engineers attend your site on scheduled visits to ensure your network is operating to optimum performance.
During the scheduled visit the following critical tasks are completed on your server:
- Check all system logs for errors and fix as necessary
- Check Anti-virus and/or Anti-Spyware software is updated
- Check backups are working and perform a sample restore
- Install required patches and updates
Time permitting, additional tasks are performed on request or as detailed in the supplied Preventative Maintenance Agreement. Preventative Maintenance Agreements offer the following benefits:
- Priority attendance to call-out requests
- A more stable network environment
- Support and advice without the cost of an IT Department
